Alex, Zekk gets big in Dark Next, and then continues on in LotF. And we can always use another Fett book, especially if it's got Mirta in it.

I'm not concern about Fate of the Jedi too much right now, but TFN lit board has a whole big thread going about the series. So I lurk occasionally for info and fan reaction.

About Zekk, I hope he's used and developed a bit more as a character like you say. I guess it'll make "Blood Oath" (whatever it is) a bit more relevant?

I need to finish "Street of Shadows". This is getting crazy, it's a good book, not long, I should have finished it weeks ago.

Well if you requested something and I had the power to do so, I'd do my best to fulfill it.

I finally read The Force Unleashed graphic novel.
I liked it but I feel like some emotion and details were lost. Like maybe I should read the book novel to get a better feel. I also thought some characters would have a bigger role. Like Maris for example. I liked the droid, Proxy.

Alex, my big problem is that we don't know much about Zekk, other than he was joined with Jaina for a while, and followed her around like a love sick puppy dog. He's not the best Jedi, he's not the best pilot, but he's all around average.

Well I didn't find her hot but I thought she would have a bigger role. Bigger than Juno.

Why do they think they can sell a story about Zekk? Does he even have a big fan following?

Jerry, OK...I'll take your word. So instead of a Zekk novel...where is my Mara Jade, Darth Revan, Darth Plageous(sp), I mean I can come up with 10 other more compelling characters in that case?

Steph...Sadly the Force Unleashed NOVEL isn't much more than the Graphic Novel from Dark Horse. I've read/lurked online a lot...and it's considered to be a big disappointment. Following the game with little more to offer. Which I was surprised to find out, as Sean Williams Scott wrote 3 of the better books in NJO series.

I'm not sure why Zekk's got any following. Jag and Jaina have shipped forever, and there are a few that are anti-jag, so they root for Zekk, but from what I understand, it's a vast minority.

There is one important piece that we find out in the novel that isn't in the Graphic Novel, the original of the Rebellion's symbol.

Yes, the Jaina/Zekk people are the minority. It's mostly Jaina/Jag...they've been together since Rebel Dream in NJO! (more or less)

Steph...I would just skip it all together.
