To me they're the best characters.
Sometimes the best characters don't always get the attention they deserve and are reduced to background supporting characters.

She was too focused on the weirdness that is Clary (I hate that she named a character after herself) and Jace. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I rented a copy from netflix. I'm excited if Magnus and Alec get attention.
Yes, her name annoys me too.

The movie is entertaining.

Happened to Alex on Lost. Then they bumped her off to motivate her weasel of a stepfather. Classic example of the woman in the fridge trope. That's where I drew the line and stopped watching Lost. Never regretted dropping it.

I think it's a matter of principle to drop shows when the writers/creators/whatever cross a certain line in mistreatment of audiences or characters. We shouldn't continue to give them our support when they go too far that way. We shouldn't stand for it. Buffy is a rare exception of show which was good enough that I continued on with it after such a line was crossed (the AR).

That's the added on Character Assassination.

Glad you liked the HP comedy.

I stopped watching Lost after a while, too. It just got messy. You could tell they were making stuff up as they went along.

Yeah

I remember one of the earlier interviews where the writers said that there was no time travelling involved in the plot. And then a few years later...

So after a year and half I am reading a Star Wars book again. Juli and I are starting Choices of One on Monday.

^ What Steph said. I'm excited to finally read it.

Lost: I actually just re-watched the whole series the last few months, and you can definitely feel the confusion as you go through it. Plus they tried to make the finale a pretty pink bow, and it just didn't work.
