Mara: I'm going to put this vaguely because I know you'll get it. Palps took her when she was a little girl, and throughout TTT she's extremely obsessed with him. And I already have a certain opinion of Palps and his interest in children.

Wax Anakin: Ummm... wax figure? I can't be the only one who thinks that's creepy.

Palps is just a Depraved Omnisexual, with a specific leaning toward sadism. Yes, he has some pedophilic tendencies, but since he's just as happy torturing teenagers or twentysomethings, he's not a pedophile. Palpy's favorite fetish is to dominate people who would otherwise seem dominant, hence his interest in young Skywalker. Lord Sidious has a weird incest fetish as well, molesting not only Anakin, but Anakin's son, Anakin's future daughter-in-law, and Anakin's father, in addition to attempting to molest Anakin's grandson before he was even born. However, Ben can thank Uncle Han for breaking the cycle; he will never be molested by Sid.

Yeah, but it's easy to think of him as a child molester with his relationship to Mara, and the whole thing in TPM.

On a related note to the sex education thing, the Dark Nest books have Ben asking Luke what "kriffing" means.
