And I think that his death was great and served a great purpose, so I don't see why he should come back in IX.

Yeah but he died as Anakin in the light, he didn't die as Vader, so maybe that's why,

It's certainly interesting, I would love to see that one day. I don't see a reason why Siths couldn't become one with the Force when they die. They are Force users after all and Force is both light and dark.

Yes, Anakin returning as a Force Ghost was done to show that he'd been redeemed.

Maybe by the modern view, but not by the old Lucas view. Lucas viewed the Dark Side as like a cancer infecting the Force and to him balancing the Force meant getting rid of the Dark Side entirely. To him the Dark Side and he Sith were not a valid part of the Force.

In the old EU there was Exar Kun who was a Sith Force ghost, but he was restricted to one area on a planet.

Who is behind Luke? I can't even tell.

I have zero intrest in Snoke.
