All I had time to watch was the Harrison video. It was just plain silly. "Come here, you big walking carpet"

Watched some of the videos on the last page. The Harrison/Chewie one was a good laugh. Harrison's facial expressions were great, as usual. It follows on from a long storyline of Han and Chewie being at odds with Leia, shown in videos like these.

As for the other videos, the new cast come off well. It's nice to finally get a bit oif flavour of John Boyega is like. Likable.

Well, Mark Hamill was forced to lose weight too. It really wasn't unreasonable. It doesn't fit to have Luke or Leia overweight. Younger actors have to get in shape for roles, so why not older ones? Harrison Ford is in good shape and he's older than either Carrie or Mark. And actors are always changing their bodies for roles -losing weight, putting on weight, putting on muscle. Whatever the role requires. I think Carrie's making too much of this. Jason Momoa had to exercise so hard for his role as Conan the Barbarian that he was puking every day. Yet I've never heard of him actually complaining about it.

Well, women more than men have been subjected to weight shaming. I agree that there are role's which require a certain body type, but Carrie is not a young woman and I think Spanks would have worked just fine.

Jason Mamoa is a young man and can recover from excessive weight loss/gain. Christian Bale did it for The Machinist, Chris Hemsworth for the current Moby Dick movie. I believe Charlise Theron did it for Monster. But they were all much younger than Carrie.

*New thread?
