I feel as if the cast and crew are just as excited about Reylo as we are and that makes me so happy

They're constanly finding new ways to say "Reylo is canon" without actually saying it

It must be frustrating knowing that almost everybody knows and not be allowed to straight-up confirm it

I feel as if the moment they touched hands by the fire, it was screaming canon I mean I'm speaking what seems like the obvious, but I think that specific scene moved them up to full-on intimacy territory

I think they do. But it's something similar to the reactions of Chuck and Blair - there are people who either love the idea or hate it.


Adam and Daisy's performances together are electric. The proposal scene is actually lit with sparks in the air, which is full-on presenting it as a romantic scene.

I don't think there is a middle ground here. I don't remember a fan who would be just like "Reylo? Yeah, I don't mind them."

I actually think it's a good thing that people are so passionate about it. They are currently the most talked about couple on tumblr and everyday they are mentioned on twitter. It lets the cast and crew know that people have really responded to that particular story arc. Whether in a good or bad way (and some of the reactions are insane ) it's a message to LucasFilm that Reylo is the pairing which stands out for people in the Sequel Trilogy.

Absolutely. They knew that not everybody would like them, but they were hoping that the others would love them. And they couldn't get a better response

The passionate response from the antis only proves to me that Reylo is canon. We, Reylos, know it and the antis know it too. That's why they are so vocal.

A lot of it has to do with their confusion over Kylo as a character. They came into TFA not realizing that Kylo would actually be his facade, and that Ben Solo is the true person underneath - the son of Han and Leia. He's not a new Vader, contrary to people's opinions about the mask. He's genuinely conflicted, which shines through in Adam's performance.


This seems to anger some people. Well, who wants a copy-cat Vader? Not me Some people don't understand what Rey would see in him. Clearly, they haven't paid attention and are just going around saying "who wants the hero with the villain?" No, it's not that simple. They are both in a very middle ground area.

I feel like that a lot of hate for the movie comes from a misunderstanding of the trilogy's direction and the characters direction. If some fans still think that Kylo is full on evil after TLJ and that he manipulated Rey for his own gain, than it's no wonder to me, that they think TLJ was a waste of time and nothing really happened and that there was no character development. I'm sorry, but this is just complete ingnorance

Oh, absolutely There's a strong degree of ignorance on the part of the fandom. They're just focusing on the old cast being fazed out (I don't personally love that myself, but as long as it's done in a way that serves the plot, which IMO, it is) and if they actually paid attention, they would see Kylo for the young, conflicted soul he actually is. Some people don't even know that Kylo Ren isn't his real name




Look at how boyish he is in that GIFset He's a young man at heart.





Can we assume from this that he's a Finn/Rose fan?
