 well not to long ago i was counting down the days to see the movie now im counting down the days till the dvd.....ahhhh i think ill even watch the extras before the movie hehehehe  __________________

When did she discover that she was going to have twins? I can see coming up with a girl and a boy name before birth, but if you don't know that you are going to have twins, how do you come up with names beginning with the same letter so quickly? I mean how popular is the name Leia? and if Vader knows of Princess Leia Organa who's adopted by someone who knew Padme and is the same age as his child, I think he would have put it together. but that's just my opinion. As for Luke, just him having the name Skywalker gave it away. I think Padme had the names in mind and not knowing the sex had one picked for each just incase and then got to use both. |

here's the deleted baby scene...
PADME stands and watches the sunset. The SHADOWY FIGURE moves toward her. She senses something. ANAKIN: Beautiful, isn't it? PADME jumps and turns around. PADME: You startled me. He sits next to her on the bench. ANAKIN: How are you feeling? PADME: He keeps kicking. ANAKIN: He?! Why do you think it's a boy? PADME: (laughs) My motherly intuition. She puts his hand on her belly. ANAKIN: Whoa! With a kick that strong, it's got to be a girl. They laugh. ------------------------------------------------------- then they start talking about the council and stuff  heres the rest of the SCRIPT __________________

Just imagine how they'll smile at eaachother in that scene... awwww... I wanna see it! Can't believe George didn't put that in the movie, cuz it shows that Anakin/Padme still had a good time during the whole tragedy! I read the script by the way! loving it!  __________________

I know and it showed more that Anakin cared about the child. I didn't think he was as concerned at 1st (esp b/c of his "oh crap" reaction to the news) , but after reading the book and seeing it a few more times I saw that he did.
It should have stayed in. |

You almost never got the impression that Anakin really cared about the baby/babies. He seemed to confused all the time. And, of course, he was but I just think it would have fit perfectly in the movie. *sigh* __________________

i agree that it should have been in the movie. could have even helped the story line along but whats done is done i guess...... Tara __________________
