Have you ever been on the OTH and American Idol boards, those two were the ones that got the most recent changes. They both look very pretty.

I dont know how long they take but Im told its a pretty long time.

The announcement for the "Cartoons" board (re)customization has been there since October 2007. It's been seven months here so far but it's getting there.

My bad, forgot they changed that. You used to vote on them, now you can offer suggestions which may or may not be taken into consideration as the graphics team re-surface the board.

I'll repeat my early thoughts, something a bit darker would be nice. There are 10000 starwars themes that are out there, Imperial, New Republic, Old Republic, Mando, Jedi, Sith, Nightsisters, etc, etc, etc.....it would be best take take queues from what the fan community has already produced.

Have you got any picture links? A lot of the team haven't seen Star Wars (a travesty I know!

) so that would be very helpful.

And there-in lies the issue...I understand that not-everyone likes star wars...and not everyone is a fan, but if you're customizing a board for fans, and you're not one....there's a disconnect. Shouldn't the fan's choices be taken into account in those instances.

Well that's exactly what this thread is for - for you guys to tell us what you want so we can make things based off of that

obviously we can't follow your directions exactly, but we try to. You asked for pretty much the same colours on Dark Angel and that's what you got right?

What colours do you want this time? (though we stay away from black and dark colours)

Personally though, I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan

Those are actually not the best images I had in mind. If you'll hold that thought, I'll edit some of the book cover images for Luke, Mara, Jaina, etc and be back sometime next week.

Red, Im not a huge fan of, Grey I like though, I just noticed Vader isnt on the graphic which is a travesty, he should be on it, he's the heart and soul of the SW universe (Yeah thats an exageration but Id like it if he was on it).

Vader is in the graphic!

He's in the planet in the top right - I made that one myself, (though it's one of my earlier graphics) and made sure to include him (I'm a huge Vader fan).

We can't actually use drawings or art from other people because of copyright issues - only photographs I'm afraid.
