Hmm... in terms of what characters are really central the story, you have Palpatine as big baddie, Yoda as a big mystical good guy, Obi-Wan as the PT hero (well and much more but still ), Luke as the OT hero, and Anakin as the overall central character.

Although it's perfectly fine to argue that Artoo is the overall central character

Man, I bet it's hard to fit things for SW into so small a space.

As to colours - I'm easy as long as it isn't red. That's one colour that I've never liked.

I've only ever posted on this board about 5 times, so I dunno what right I've really got to suggest banner options, but I just thought of something, so I'm posting it anyway.

Considering there are so many characters, perhaps the easiest way to do the banner would be to have objects instead of characters? Like the symbols for the Empire and the Rebel Alliance:


And things like the Death Star, an X Wing, a lightsabre, etc.

And if you did want characters, I also had the idea that maybe you could have a silhouette from the Darth vs Luke battle on one end of the banner, and a silhouette from the Obi vs Anakin battle on the other end.

That's one way to get around so many characters. I'd rather go with the Death Star, X-Wing and lightsaber than the Empire and Rebel Alliance symbols.

That's a great idea Phee. Objects/Symbols (and Yoda ) Yoda is practically a symbol anyways.
