Nothing.

BehrItAll 10-20-2019 05:22 PM

I just finished listening to Carrie by Stephen King and narrated by Sissy Spacek.

sum1 10-21-2019 02:32 AM

Stephen King is overrated. He's said some very arseholey things about books and writers I care a lot about and the quality of his writing certainly isn't enough to make up for it.

Been watching The Heat (2013, Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy). Bullock's great, but McCarthy is downright obnoxious.

BehrItAll 10-21-2019 08:24 PM

:look: I like his writing from what I have read. The Shining was really excellent. I literally jumped out of my seat.

I remember he dissed Stephenie Meyer and I didn't agree with him but didn't let me stop checking out his more famous stories.

Oh, that movie was ok. Not as funny as I was hoping. Except the scene with the brothers from Boston.

The Shining was an excellent film, but that was all Kubrick, not Stephen King.

McCarthy got bearable by the end of the movie.

I like the movie, but I separate it from the book, because they are so different.

I am watching Chopped.

Today I listened to The Legend of Sleepy Hollow audiobook.
Tomorrow I will listen to The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Other Stories.
Part of my Halloween reads/listens.
