His kids played a role in his redemption but neither one is the Chosen One.
Even Lucas himself has said it is Anakin.

In continuation of our previous discussion, I'm curious to know what you guys mean when you say "balanced." I (personally) interpreted the prophecy as the darkside and the lightside being balanced, as in no one with larger followers than the other, such as with the centuries where it was a thousand Jedi and two Sith. So what do you guys view it as?

I think Anakin brought balance by killing the emperor and also killing himself in the process ... he was unbalancing the Force after all too

Oooo good point, that never ocurred to me. What Sternbetrachter said is true, but only in one context. Maybe we're being to close-minded. Maybe the balance has absolutely nothing to do with dark vs. light.
