Watched another Hayden movie tonight. Outcast, with Nicholas Cage.

I liked this line from Hayden's character, Jacob.

I don't know if it was historically accurate, but I liked Hayden's hair.

I liked it alright. I thought it would be more campy since it has Nic Cage in it. But it was mildly cheesy. I was entertained.

I knew there would be an attraction between Jacob and the female lead, Lian . I thought it would go further but was glad it didn't. More realistic that that only kissed. And they go there separate ways.

Criticism:
I did find it off putting that everyone spoke English. I guess there was no budget for subtitles and a Mandarin coach?

I saw the trivia on imdb that

Scottish? I knew he was trying to do an accent, did not pick up that it was Scottish. Nic Cage sounded even less Scottish that Hayden.

I also found it not plausible that Hayden's character, Jacob, was fighting as well as he did being an opium addict.

^Thanks for the movie review, I find most historical recounts are spoken in english

it probably isn't accurate but I suppose some movie budgets can't cover language lessons

I think so. If this was a huge blockbuster there would have been a language and dialect coach and subtitles.

So you have to pretend they are speaking Mandarin.

Anakin stayed roughly the same- flipped around a few colors and brightened it- Come back to the light buddy!! Gave him a bit more color to pair better with Padme and Obiwan.

Hearing Hayden Christensen is coming back to the Kenobi series is pretty damn cool. I can't wait to see what they are going to do with him!!! I hope they do stuff with him outside of the Vader suit. Flash backs with young creepy cg? Sure. I'm all in!!!
What do you hope to see ??

I would love flashbacks. Bring some Clone Wars moments to live action maybe?

And current have Hayden in the DV suit.
