Agreed. Snow in March was a real pain. It was pretty, but getting to work was awkward to say the least. I can't understand why we can't just get a little snow on Christmas Day and that's it.

Right! I would not mind it in the month of December leading up to Christmas and Christmas day, but then it can go away!

we had a week and a half of heavy rain. which is not normal for us.but that is now over. now we have 90 degree heat to deal with

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time at your job Jen. Hope it gets better for you. And I hope you can get a much needed break.

There's a lot going on at my work too. I work at a supermarket and two weeks ago our checkout systems were updated and it's going to take a while to really get used to them. After 10 years of the checkouts being pretty much the same it is too weird at the moment with the change. On top of that, our management team is being re-structered. Some of our old team are leaving and we're getting 6 new managers next month, so that's going to also take a while to get used to as I've worked with these people for so many years and now they're leaving. Some who I thought could be going are now staying, luckily. But most colleagues including myself have to step up our responsibilities and take on more roles in the department, which I don't mind as long as I do it consistently so I can get used to doing it. On top of that is our merger with another supermarket to help compete with the budget supermarkets. I don't think too much is going to change in our particular store but I don't know. There's quite some uncertainty over that.

Counting down till my next week off in July/August.
