Disney - Pollyanna

A little girl comes to a town that is embattled by feuds and intimidated by her aunt. By the time she must leave, she has transformed the community with her indominatable will to see the good side of even the worst situations and bring it out for the betterment of all.

I was just thinking about some of the older Disney movies I grew up on tonight and this one sprung to mind. Anyone else a fan? It's been so long since I've seen this movie, but I've always loved it and Haley did a great job!

I hope they do release it on DVD sometime in the near future, I'd love to have that one!

This was definitely one of my favorites when I was growing up. I used to always watch it when I was sick.

They need to release it on DVD soon. Preferably with special features.

Oh I agree! I'd love to own some of the classics like this one on DVD. Hopefully Disney will think about releasing it..

I absolutely love this movie! Disney Channel used to show it during the "Vault Disney" segment at midnight...I don't think they do that anymore(?)
I would definitely enjoy owning this movie [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Hayley Mills is the best.

Omg a Pollyanna thread [img]smilies/thumbs_up.gif[/img] I loved Hayley Mills when I was little and watched Pollyanna and The Parent Trap SO much. I remember in Pollyanna the minister guy who used to thunder DEATH COMES UNEXPECTEDLY!! so loudly, that used to scare me until I was about 7, then I'd be saying it along with him and laughing [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

I love this Old time classic, i remember watching it on tv, and then my mum came and joined me and told me she use to watch this as a little girl etc.
i love this movie, and cant wait till it comes out on DVD!
