I use to read the books as a kid and seen the 1977 cartoon version too. The live action film looks pretty good.

Thanks for the thread.
 I've never read the books or seen the original film. But this does look good! Though I am most likely going to wait till it's released on Blu Ray. __________________

I enjoyed it. It was fun and cute movie. I do want to see this remake even more now.

Julie, I have it until Thursday if you would like to borrow it. I can watch it again too. I thought it was good.
Me too Felicity. Though I am going to wait for it to release out on DVD or at least arrive at the cheap show.  |

The original was another fun one from my childhood. I can't say I have much interest in the new one. I don't know. All these remakes/live action adaptations just don't appeal to me much.
