Disney - Life With Derek: Can Two Siblings Look So Good Arguing?

I love this show. Hahaha. I remember the actor who plays Derek from another show - in that he was a geek. He looks so much better as a 'cool' guy.

And surprisingly the actress who plays Casey pulls off her character so well. She doesn't irritate me. Neither of them do.

That's impressive. As these two characters could so easily be like that.

I have to admit though, part of me wishes Disney would have them like each other. It would never happen, but I like their chemistry. If they were in a movie together or something...that would totally rock.

To be honest, I'm not caught up with my disney shows, so this one I haven't seen. I think I have heard of it though. It sounds like a pretty interesting one though. I must see if it's shown here.

I just watched the new episode, "Date with Derek". It is actually surprisingly very good. Everyone has grown up, Nora's hair is wierd, Casey wears a lot of makeup, Sam has no hat, Derek is nice, Edwin's voice is changing, Lizzy is more mature, and Marti is about a foot taller. And the family seems more comfortable together (this is kind of expected and a little wierd because it's been about a year- a month of dating sam- since the family became one, but the show was fun with the awkwardness) George and Lizzy seem close, Nora and Edwin are close and Casey and Derek are more playful instead of hurtful.

All in all it was a great start to a new season, but I think the next eppy starts in 2 weeks so there is more waiting to come!

i love this show, it reminds me of life at my house, except my "Derek" is 10 years old.
