None of the Disney films I love ever get old for me. Hunchback is no exception, though I haven't watched it in a while.

I saw Disney's The Hunchback Of Notre Dame in the theater when I was a kid and I remember being enchanted by the movie and how Disney was able to turn a mostly adult and mature story into a movie for kids and my mom was impressed by Quasimodo's singing voice and who knew that Tom Hulce had a great singing voice in the role of Quasimodo. After The Hunchback Of Notre Dame was over my mom took me to Toys "R" Us and bought me my Esmeralda doll as a souvenir and I still have it today. I think Disney was expecting The Hunchback Of Notre Dame to be a huge hit when it debuted in Summer 1996 and with great songs The Hunchback Of Notre Dame proved that Disney was right about releasing movies during the summer because during the Summertime movies are always a treat to watch for the kids during Summer Vacation. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame II was great but not impressive because I do not recall Esmeralda and Phoebus deciding to get married and then having a son in the first movie. But Jennifer Love Hewitt was the only saving grace in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame II because her character Madellaine was the most popular character in the movie and Jennifer Love Hewitt's song she sang called I'm Gonna Love You was so beautiful and Jennifer Love Hewitt has an awesome singing voice that really shows her talent

I probably need to watch this one again, because I will admit when I was a kid I did not like this movie. Maybe my opinion has changed since I have been an adult.

That's understandable. For Disney, Hunchback has a lot of heavy material and content for young children.
