Disney - Demi, Miley, Selena and the Jonas Brothers together in a movie?

Hey guys, interested in seeing a Disney movie starring Miley, Demi, Selena, and the Jonas Brothers? Disney execs are looking at several script ideas for a movie vehicle for these stars, probably for release on the Disney channel, but may possibly be considered for feature release on the big screen! Right now this is all unofficial, and if one of the scripts is chosen it would have to wait for the completion of the filming of "Camp Rock 2", as Demi and the Jonas Bros are currently involved in that project. Here are some of the movie ideas being discussed:

1. A movie starring the Disney artists as themselves, which would be based on the "Friends for Change" promotion that has been airing recently.
(This one has a finished script and is a strong contender for filming)

2. The gang play a group of friends in a small town who form a band. They are signed to a major record label and hit it big, but that also brings all of the pressures of fame and whether the friends can stay true to each other.
(This one also has a great deal of support, but the biggest drawback is that this idea of "small band makes it big" has been done many times before)

3. A film using characters from the Disney sitcoms, Hannah/Miley, Demi as Sonny, Selena as Alex, and the Jonas's. This would also feature appearances by the rest of the casts of those shows.
(The biggest objection to this is the Jonas's basically play themselves on their show, while the girls do play characters different from themselves. The idea doesn't really gel.)

4. A remake of "Footloose". Paramount has been trying to film a remake but it's been sidetracked by casting problems. Disney would partner with Paramount if this was chosen.

5. Remake of "Grease". This is unlikely as the storyline is a little too close to Disney's popular "High School Musical"

Thanks for that info! I think any of those movies would do well, though, the first two do sound probably the best out of all of them.

Thank you for the reply. Here's a few other things that can be mentioned:

1. This is unofficial news, so no press announcements by Disney will be made untli the project gets a go ahead.

2. All the Disney stars mentioned will get equal time, the movie will not be a vehicle simply for one of them.

3. As indicated, the first and second ideas are the strongest contenders, with the Disney sitcom vehicle and Footloose being more outside contenders, and Grease is unlikely to be chosen but is out there as a faint possibility. I didn't reveal much about the Friends for Change script, but will if some here are interested

OK, here goes...

The Disney gang find out that their favorite nature park is being bought by a corporation run by a greedy businessman (possibly played by Christopher Walken), who is also buying up parks, forests, and other wildlife areas in other parts of the country. Our heroes try various ways of stopping the sale, but none succeed...till they come up with the idea of doing a big benefit music show. They put on the concert, but the show is sabotaged by the businessman sending his henchman backstage to kidnap the girls while the Jonas Brothers are performing their set onstage! The baddies intend on using the girls as bait to capture the Jonas's as well when the JB's come to the rescue (duh, you don't expect them to let their friends down, do you?)...but, it's Sel, Miley, and Demi who end up saving the day! (Girls rock!)

I like the 2nd idea...it has been done before for sure, but if they just add some twists and turns they can make it there own!

We certainly hope so, and you guys can actually help by spreading the word! It is going to be tricky, if this project gets a go ahead, to work around the other commitments the six of them have, but hopefully that can all be worked out.
