 Credit This art is so mysterious, I just love it! Whoever made this is an extremely talented person.Merida never needed a man in her life, which speaks so much volume and sends a message throughout the entire movie. A Princess or even the natural human being can be independent with having a partner next to their side. Merida was so successful in life. __________________

I honestly don't see her story being about her not needing a man at all in her life, I see it as her being strong enough to not let anyone decide how she should live her life, who she should choose to spend it with and force certain role in a society on her that she doesn't want to fit in and that's what she rightfully rebelled against. It doesn't mean that because she wasn't ready to marry one of those three guys she knew little to nothing about and neither even liked or wasn't ready at all to have a boyfriend let alone - husband at the age of 16 she isn't going to fall in love in the future. I'm pretty sure that there is a good chance that she will, but it is going to be a person she genuinly likes spending time with, someone who would shareher interests and someone she would actually get to know and she earned a right to be able to choose what her path is going to be, which was, to me, the strongest point of her story and her character.

I love how much of an inspiration this movie is for every girl out there who chooses to live an independent life. Merida is the adventurous type who is always willing to explore the world before settling down with a man next to her side. She made herself proud and was a killer at archery!
