I have listened to the soundtrack and I gotta be honest, I am not happy with the new versions of some songs but I'll give the movie a chance.

I haven't really heard the new versions of the classic songs, but I did listen to a little of the new Jasmine's song, and I gotta say it doesn't really fit into the music of Aladdin at all. It's very 'pop' and too power ballad-like. Naomi Scott may have a great voice, but I far prefer Lea Salonga's.

One of my best friends saw it in theaters and say she really liked it a lot. It was better than she expected.

I kind of liked this movie.
It starts off slow, and Aladdin himself....well..he's not that likeable. I was pleasantly surprised by Will Smith's performance. I thought it would be over the top constant mugging for the cameras, but he was very good, IMO. I'd go see it again. __________________
Anti B/B...because it's GROSS.
