I had a really low-key, fun night with one of my best friends and her 6-year-old little boy. Some of my friends went to New Orleans at the last minute, and I was like, hahahaha. NO. But really, no. lol.

^ I concur! That's what we did. Just spent a calm, quiet, relaxing evening with family. Dinner, watched the fireworks and then went home... oh, and trying to calm down a stressed dog in the meantime. Wasn't too bad this year. Last year was way worse. My cousin's house, which we were at, is placed so that we were fairly shielded from the worst noise. Besides, there are mostly older couples living nearby, so no drunken teens/young adults to wreak havoc this time.

^ It really helps when their aren't teenagers around. I'm a teenager myself, but I don't go partying with my friends and other crazy things like that. It's just not me. I'm more of the leave me be in peace and let me do my own thing type. So, low key holidays and such are my favorite because I don't have to worry about getting in trouble and ruining my holiday.
