Oh, yeah. In some ways, I felt like of Reese and Joaquin, he deserved it even more. Not to diminish what Reese did, but Joaquin was just INSANELY good.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean Linds and I agree. Reese SO SO deserved it but Joaquin was out of this world. I still have yet to see Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Capote so I guess I can't judge but I just think he should've won. :/

I concur with both of you. Was very disappointed when he didn't win. He truly inhabited the spirit of Johnny Cash & became him on screen. No doubt!

He, Reese & the movie made me a fan of Johnny Cash. Had only briefly heard of him beforehand & had listened to the song Hurt, but that was about it. I didn't know the treasure that was J. Cash or June Carter. Those three combined did it.
