I'm always cautious when it comes to Indian food b/c I don't like spicy stuff. So I just stick to the chicken and vegetables.

There are a TON of restaurants on 2nd Avenue from like 42nd street all the way to 50-whatever. I haven't tried many, but there has to be something good.

Artichoke - Basille's Pizza & Bar serves really good pizza, but the location I go to unfortunately doesn't have anywhere to sit down

It was featured on Masterchef over here and I know it's got a Michelin star! We'll probably eat in the tavern though and not the formal dining room, that's what we did when we went to Spago.

When is Steph back?

The tavern doesn't seem overly expensive so if we can get a reservation we'll be there!

I was looking at the Tavern's menu (I went straight to the dessert menu

) and lots of dishes look mmm mmm good.

The strawberry pie sounds good as does the ricotta cheesecake with the plum sorbet!

Would it be weird to go around the city and try every dessert place? Bruno's in really good.
Bruno Bakery - Greenwich Village - New York, NY ---> I'm pretty sure that's the place. I only went once, but it sticks out in my mind.

I think that's a great idea. We'll definitely be getting some cheesecake from Juniors in Grand Central and I'm loving the place you've just posted the link for. H is gluten free and there was a few GF goodies on the menu!

Bruno's is my parents' favorite place ever! They've been going there for years. And yes, it is quite yummy.
