It sounds like we all have pretty simple requests this Xmas. I asked for a few graphic novels and a couple of dvds that I've wanted for a while. Other than that, clothes are always the only thing I really want/need.

I did all of my Xmas shopping online this morning in one fowl (foul?) swoop. I just have to get my parents something, but I think I am going to get them tickets for a broadway show. I just have to pick a date that will be convenient for them.

That's a nice gift for your parents. Which show will you get tickets for?
Don't you love it when shopping is done quickly...I'm finished with it and now have to wrap/get cards.

I get where they're coming from- it does drive up demand which, in turn, will drive up revenue, but it's still infuriating.

I'd never call someone's wishlist stupid, I may scratch my head and wonder if it's a good idea but nothing more than that! Questionable items include the movie "Mamma Mia" for my niece. She loves the movie, but she's young so it'll be the kind of movie often repeated. I ended up going with it to make up for gag gifts given to me by her parents in the past.

An LJ friend of mine wore her snuggie outside. Whatever could keep me warm is something I'd automatically love.

I wanted to like Mamma Mia better than I did cause I like Abba songs and musicals, but the film was too crazy for me.

I don't like Abba Music and I don't like Meryl Streep, and Pierce cannot sing- otherwise, I liked the movie just fine.

Mamma Mia just wasn't a good movie. Plain and simple. And Pierce's "singing" made me want to put cotton in my ears!

My dog has a snuggie with velcro closures! So, it has been thought of, it just hasn't been implemented into the human version just yet.
