Take lots of photos of Michael Sheen.

I know.

That is if I go. If conflicts with Caprica/Battlestar and I rather see that.

But Jen said she'd be in Hall H all day. She'll get pics of Michael Sheen.

TFTNT!

Everyone's alright. The earthquake might have shook us up, but I don't think it caused any damage. At least, not up here in LA.

I would so go to the BSG panel. it!

Needless to say I am a huge, HUGE Joss Whedon fan. Having jumped on his bandwagon during S1 of BtVS and sticking around for Angel, Firefly and Dollhouse (which, is definitely the weakest link, but still had some interesting stuff going on). I also LOVE his comic work. He did a fantastic arc for The Astonishing X-Men and a future slayer series called, Fray. I do kinda revere the man, Janet. But, I get that his type of storytelling & humor is not for everyone. For me personally, it just doesn't get any better!

I was hoping you'd get Garrett photos for me, Steph. Can I sneak into your luggage so I can go to the panels I want?

You must tell her.
Maybe you'll see Michael & Garrett walking around.

I think everyone I've talked to online about him reveres him, and I think his shows are entertaining (as long as I can watch them all one after another, that's why I failed at Dollhouse... a week was too much time to go by and not have me think about things) but I wouldn't call his work genius.

It amazes me how Joss and JJ managed to get such a following and have Hollywood love them.

Do you realize we've seen most of JJ's work?

I like JJ a lot, too, although I feel like once he abandons his shows they inevitably go on a downward spiral. I really hope that doesn't happen to FRINGE. So far, he's already out and the show has gotten better, so... *fingers crossed*

It is amazing, but then again, they are both very talented. And they know they owe their fans a lot, so they are both really good about acknowledging that fact.

I don't get why JJ abandons everything. Why can't he stick with at least 1 tv show? Talk about having ADD.

I think he would rather focus his energy on films. He puts his stamp on TV shows without the intention of sticking with them for the long-haul. However, I'm sure he hopes that the people he puts in charge in his absence will do him proud.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.
