Given the choices...
My father's 75-year-old uncle, Jose, died last night shortly before midnight from stomach cancer. RIP That's the third death in the family to cancer this year, second one this month alone. __________________

I know he's going to be cremated and his ashes will be buried. I don't know if they will be having a service. I imagine it will only be an intimate one of his close family that was by his side until the end (wife, children, grandchildren).
My aunt didn't have one for her husband when he succumbed to cancer earlier this month. Especially since that was when there was a noticeable surge in cases. __________________

Eh, I doubt it. Both suffered for over a year, and their immediate family knew the end was near and made their peace with it and said their goodbyes already. I'm sure their spouse, children, and grandchildren are enough for a service.
