It's from different decades and because my dad took furniture when his dad died and then when his uncle died. I get not getting rid of his father's furniture because his dad actually built it (he was a carpenter) and it's well made, but he could've sold his uncle's stuff (though his stuff was well made too, but not with his own hands).
