Northern Africans aren't black?


My nanny had a very small percentage, like less than 1% Bantu. And I had less than 1% Benin/Togo.

Northern Africans are more Middle Eastern / Mediterranean / West Asian. I just picture Cleopatra and Egyptians. They don't seem black to me. Just think of Aladdin when you hear North African.

Sadly, when it's that small, I wonder if it was the result of a rape. Sucks to think about it, but I'm sure all of us are the result of at least one rape in our ancestry.

I had 2 great grandmas who were born in Chile (their Sicilian parents went there for work and later on returned to Sicily) so I joke that I should tell college scholarship people that I'm Chilean.

I sometimes think about our very early ancestors / cave men and what the hell they did to enable us to be here right now. Survival was so hard back then.
