Perfect Sense {Michael} #2: Sweet dreams are not made of this

Perfect Sense (2011)
A chef and a scientist fall in love as an epidemic begins to rob people of their sensory perceptions.

“People prepare for the worst… but hope for the best. They concentrate on the things that are important to them. All the things beyond fat and flour.”

"It’s dark now. But they feel each other’s breath and they know all they need to know. They kiss. And they feel each other’s tears on their cheeks. And if there happen to be anybody else left to see them, then they would look like normal lovers, caressing each other’s faces, bodies close together, eyes closed—oblivious to the world around them. Because that’s how life goes on. Like that."

I wish 28 Days Later would plague my dreams because of ~reasons.

In fact, I would recreate the bathtub scene from Perfect Sense, with Jim from 28 Days Later.

but these dreams didn't have CIllian. They had zombies wanting to eat my brain.

You'd recreate the bathtub scene with Cillian over Ewan?

You need to train your brain differently. Hot men >>> zombies.

Haven't we learned anything from the Trainspotting thread? Why exclude anyone, when there is room for 3...

I was going to type something really dirty about my brain training Dream!Cillian instead of zombies to eat a certain something, but I stopped myself. Aren't you proud?

The Trainspotting thread solves life's problems.

VICTORIA!

I am proud of both your initial smutty (and very witty) reaction as well as the restraint you've shown.

I hope Cillian never reads this.

um so yea, Perfect Sense. I think it's the only Eva movie I've seen.

From imdv:

Quote:
The tumultuous political landscape of Paris in 1968 serves as the backdrop for a tale about three young cineastes who are drawn together through their passion for film. Matthew, an American exchange student, pursuing his education abroad in Paris, becomes friends with a French brother and sister duo, named Theo and Isabelle, who share a common love of the cinema. While the May 1968 Paris student riots--which eventually shut down most of the French government--are happening around them, the three friends develop a relationship unlike anything Matthew has ever experienced, or will ever encounter again.
I will add that the three main characters basically live in their own bubble, while craziness is going on outside. They are "the dreamers" of the title, creating their own world.

WHY DID MY AUTOCORRECT TURN IMDB INTO IMDV????

Sorry. I'm composed now.

No, the film isn't all in French. It's a mix of French and English.

No worries, I knew what imdv meant.

I should watch the movie to hear the French language alone. Nevermind plot.

It's a good thing I don't watch movies with my parents these days.
