watch they take that out of the film and ALL the fangirls with be PO'd. Sparkling in a book works, but a movie...it'll be weird, yet dazzling.
Damn, I'd almost prefer that.

I think it makes sense. Like everything is a surprise to us because it's a surprise to him?
Basically.

brilliant!
Dazzling!

who is he?
He's an actor, I'm trying to think of what he's been in besides Nero Wolfe, according to IMDb he played Harvey Weingard in Entourage, he played the sheriff for one episode of Eureka, the police chief in one episode of Trailer Park Boys (I swear that show has some of the most interesting episode titles like "Gimme My ********** Money or Randy's Dead") , SG-1 (he played Nerus in two episodes), CSI. I can't believe this, he was in bloody Made in Canada, I can't believe I forgot that.

is he related to Benicio Del Toro?
No...He is a mexican director. And I love his movies

what a funny name.
It is

Ah, I'm actually more into the books, I feel that the movies in order to remain a reasonable length in time must give up some parts of the books I love. However, David Tennant plays Barty Crouch Jr. so yeah.
I understand...It´s the same with LOTR for me I love the books more (but I still think the movies were as good as it gets.) And you´re right...they cut things in order to fit the length of an average movie so that makes the books more valuable

Quote:
Actually showing is description-based, it allows people to visualize the scene through the five senses. An example (from writedesignonline.com) is:
Telling: The girls were excited.

Showing: Giggles and screams filled the arena. The soft curls were now damp with perspiration and the anticipation of the event. They held tight to each other in a mock effort to contain themselves. Arms flailed upward, and voices echoed in varying tones. The moment was here.
Ohh...thanks for the explanation! I love the "showing" example..
I thought you meant telling as describing only with elaborated words that make the text look fancier and the character look interesting, but in the surface, nothing else. I mean, I like when a book describes the emotions and moments the characters are experiencing...but I don´t like when they tell me how should I look at them: random example "she was a very shy girl, with lots of love to give and eager to embrace the great experience that is to be in love". I prefer they show me that through her actions, not words.

Quote:
If I watch the movie it'll be just to see him sparkle. Sparkle sparkle!
Does he sparkle? Wow...
But I keep thinking I´m gonna watch Cedric to be alive again and become a vampire to stay alive forever I think that´s what my subconscious wants to believe

do you want there to be a fight in the theater? People may not make it out alive.

I've never seen any of those stuff. No wonder I'm like WTH is he.

he does literally dazzle.

Bella wasn't lying when she said he dazzles her.

I agree so much.
that'll automatically make me hate the character.

Exactly.

Oh yes. I was reading some thoughts (okay, complaints) and someone brought up the sun representing God's physical eye, which is why vampires burn in the sun, so removing this aspect of vampire mythology really doesn't make sense.

Exactly why I'd want to sit near the exit.

I'm surprised you haven't seen Stargate SG-1 or CSI. Meanwhile can I just say I don't appreciate 's software further editing the word? Okay, so maybe I shouldn't have put it in there but I've seen worse on

oh, I never even thought of the sun being God's eye.

but she based the sparkling vampires on a dream she had so I can't complain.

I've seen CSI, but not every ep.

which word was edited? Is it the F-word?

I just caught up on 2 days of convos I missed

All I feel like saying is Vic, your arms match the white stone!

I think they will keep the sparkling in the film. It's one of the most famous things about the books.

It hadn't occurred to me, either.

Okay, that's true. It does come from a dream but it still seems silly to keep out this major aspect of vampire lore.

Okay, well he had a bit role in one episode (the landlord of a murder victim if I'm not mistaken).

Yep, it's the F-word.

Same here, but one can hope.

vampires don't have fangs either.

What I want to know is if Bella wants to sex up Ed, is she going to become a vampire during sex? Cause you know, it's venom that he'll be um...you know. Not sperm.

That'll be a painful way to transform.

Nope, their skin sparkles like it's made of diamonds.

Oh, I took out New Moon from the Library. Be scared, be very scared.

That's true. Hmm, I assume the Cullens and Hales don't have fangs.

Really? I always assumed that they didn't have sex because Edward was scared he'd get carried away.

Ouch, you're not kidding

Very true. I wish she were here so she could be either repulsed or amused by my freckle fixation.

I can't wait to read your complaints review. Hopefully you'll read it in a shorter amount of time than it took me.

That is something he's scared of. He also says in the 3rd book that he's worried about his virtue. He wants to be married before he loses his virginity.

She did post on another thread last night and said she'd catch up this weekend. So maybe she'll comment to the freckle.

Love those Twilight icons.

so guys, my comp has got spyware on it. I may need to have my comp wiped. IDK I have to bring my comp to my former school Monday. I hope they can fix it in one day and they won't have to give me a brand new computer or take this one away for weeks and weeks. I can't live without my comp.
