Greenland has a high tech underground bunker at an airbase made during the Cold War when all feared a nuclear war would start. Lots of countries around the world in the movie had some type of underground bunker, and managed to save some people while billions died above like the dinosaurs.

But....how do they know the asteroid / comet / can't remember which one it was won't impact so deeply into the earth that it'll hit the bunker too?

They tracked where the big chunk would strike thanks to math. It hit Western Europe, wiping out all of Europe instantly, and then took like a minute or two for the rest of the world to feel the effects.

I saw Toy Story 4 yesterday.

For the first time? What did you think?

First time. I liked it but the ending was not what I expected. I was sad to see Woody and Buzz separate. I get it, Woody will always be Andy's toy, not Bonnie's...but now he doesn't have his voice box and the real relationship of the series (Woody/Buzz) is no more.

For now at least. But who knows, they can find themselves reunited once more like some toys in the series seem to do over the generations.
