I don't know what I'd personally do, but thinking of Ewan's kids and how they haven't written him off, because we see them still talking positively about him on instagram and posting photos/videos with him, I would've expected them to go and just keep away from MEW. And if she tried to approach them they could go:

It's easier talking positively about someone when not with them if you think about them during the good times. I could see myself reminiscing about my father fondly, but I wouldn't want to see him in her presence at their home, let alone in front of cameras. All the cameras would see is my death glare.

j/k But it's nice that he hasn't totally lost his daughters in that they still see him all these years later now that the pain has set in and had time to settle. They may not respect his actions, but it's nice that they still have a bond. I'm the type to hold a grudge for life.
