Ah, the foster mom. See, I pictured her to be older, not attractive in the face and fat. Not young and pretty. Reese doesn't come across as stern enough.

Geoffrey Rush was cast in it, too. If I'm not mistaken, he's the father... talk about an odd couple.

Even though Geoffrey Rush is also younger than what I pictured for the dad, I am more OK with his casting than Reese. I think he'll do an excellent job. But him and Reese...odd couple for sure.
I wanted DanRad to play the young Jewish man they hide in the basement. He's around the right age.
