The movie plays with time so it did confuse me at first. __________________

umm, I don't know if it's quite like Arrival?
There's the men sailing in small boats to rescue the soldiers. Those scenes take place during a day. There's the RAF guys protecting the soldiers on the beach. Those scenes are supposed to be an hour. Then there's the soldiers on the beach trying to escape and those scenes take place during a week. All 3 scenes are mixed together and then meet up. __________________

It is weird but also effective.
I just got really confused when I saw Cillian on a small boat during the day, then on the beach at night, and then back on the small boat during the day. __________________

after I came home
and the bad thing is, in the beginning Nolan tells you there are time difference by having words on the screen say it.  __________________
