That sounds like so much fun! I need to go on a cruise
if your honeymoon isn't booked, you can always look into one.

Duet is a 6 1/2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Sweetest breed I've ever encountered. But also kind of lazy.
Awww

Glad you are liking the pics.
Yea, it's amazing what they put on ships now. I am like wow they can do that!

A honeymoon cruise would be lovely.

Ohh I didn't know the rocks were used so much and as far back as Star Trek.
Yea I am sure the Trekiees perform plays out there.

Good point. We were thinking Paris, but maybe I should look into some cruises as well. We haven't booked anything yet, because we might wait a bit and try to save some extra money.

And I'm finding it super weird that there is a cruise. com ad at the top of this page right now. How does that work exactly? Do the ads pop up depending on certain key words that are mentioned within the thread?

yes to Paris! There is a cruise that goes there, but what sucks is that it's only for a day.

Yea, I think some system (or whatever) picks out key words and uses that to advertise. They think we're interested.

My favorite use of this system was the Priest costume that was being advertised on the Angels & Demons thread a week or two before Halloween.

I've never been to Paris (actually, I've never been to a lot of places), but it's pretty much at the top of my list of places I must go before I die.

A priest should've been your costume - even if you are female.

Do you plan on seeing a show at the Moulin Rouge?

^Oooh, that sounds like a great idea! I haven't really done all that much Paris research yet, so other than museums and stuff I don't know where I plan to go. Yet, another good reason to delay the honeymoon a bit.

Wow, girls, you have really great pics there! The ship looks stunning and your cabin very cool I agree with Rachel, the Royal Promenade is out of this world! I can't believe there's cabins with that view Awesome.

I was hoping you never get to that point, actually J/K

I've already posted a couple of pics many months ago, so Steph and Vic have already seen me, hehe. But maybe it's time to post new ones

In the meantime: here are some pics of the altar my co-workers and I made in the office last week for the Day of Dead

Close-ups, lol:

Click for the big size

It's very simple considering that regular altars here are bigger and prettier, lol. But we ended up being very proud of it, actually

Simple or not, I think it looks lovely and festive. Those treats look mighty tasty, too!

Ooh that is a pretty and colorful altar
Yes, let's see a new pic of you.

I'll post more too:
Sunday (9/27/09) at sea
This was a day to just take slow and chill. With my mom and sister (dad slept in), we started the day with sit down breakfast in the Romeo & Juliet dining room.

Then we set out to explore the ship starting from Deck 15. The Skylight Chapel.

Deck 14 - The Olive or Twist bar. (Which is inside the crown of the ship).

Deck 13 - The Flow Rider where you can surf or boogie board.

The Rock Climbing Wall

Deck 12 - Don't have any pictures. There was the spa, and Adventure Ocean kids club, the arcade, and Johnny Rockets. I have Johnny Rockets pictures for another day.

Deck 11 - In order the H2O Zone, The Solarium, On deck 12 with the crown behind us, the sea (I love the rays breaking through the clouds.

Decks 10 - 8 cabins.
Deck 8 does have the online center

part 2

Deck 7 - cabins and there was the Library.

Deck 6 - cabins
Deck 5- The Royal Promenade - Stairs that lead to the casino on Deck 4, shopping, and there was even a car with teddy bears!

Deck 4 - The Schooner Bar - a'hoy matie!

Deck 3 - On Air (for karaoke), and Studio B (the ice skating rink)
I previously posted the Yoda quote from On Air.
We checked out the rink but didn't want to skate that day. I was a bit nervous being last time I skated I fell and hurt my wrist badly. Plus the ship had a steady rock to it that day and I felt it. In fact after our tour I took an afternoon nap to get rid of my headache.
But this was taken in Studio B. They had a zodiac theme. And since I am a Libra:

It was also formal night - the Captain's Welcome Aboard. This is me and my sister all dressed up.

I had the duck for dinner

After dinner we got to the show in the Alhambra Theater late. Standing only and well in dress shows that would be a no. We did go to the Millionaire Game show in the Pyramid Lounge (deck 5). I didn't get chosen to play But the hose was funny. He joked around that instead of winning a million dollars you'd win a free cruise ........brochure! . Yes he did the pause and I nearly jumped out of my chair when I heard "free cruise."
