Nora really isn't good either. I really am biased towards big budget films with famous directors and cast, so independent films really don't attract me. Ewan seems to take all the indy roles. Anyways, Jude and his homoerotic thing! *faints* I am suck a slash freak, I mean, I am obsessed and to witness Jude actually playing a gay character who has any action with any of his co-stars, that would be like a dream come true! Big Fish looks fantastic. Plus Daddy Warbucks is in it, so that makes another reason why I have to go see it. Annie was like my imaginary friend....or more like my second personality. I was a disturbed child. Would be great if either of them got nominated. I really want Ewan to get a nod, Jude already had one, so he can wait his turn, [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] I doubt even if they do get nods, they won't win. But we will see!

Cold Mountain looks a tad on the boring side, but I love dirty, deseperate men. Enemy At The Gates was great! He was dirty though out the whole thing. [img]smilies/drool.gif[/img]

But Nicole...*grumbles* Don't get me into that! WHO SAYS NO TO JUDE LAW? She ruins his life and then tells him, "Yeah, maybe it isn't a good idea, maybe I should just ignore you and let you suffer in your love for me and I'll just be a bitch and run around with bloody Lenny Kravitz!" God, I could go on about that for hours. My parents have banned me from talking about them cos apparently it ruins the family dinners. [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

I like his indie films. I enjoyed Velvet Goldmine and Brassed Off was good. I want to see Nora even if it is bad just because Ewan is in it.
I think it's good the Ewan balances his movies between indies and big budget movies. It sucks that I may not get to see all his indie movies but it shows he has great range.

you should see Wilde. I heard there's slash action there.
the talented mr. ripley is a good movie. Matt Damon did a good job but ever since someone mentioned Ewan playing Tom....*sigh* the bathroom scene would've been so much better.

Nicole was never with Jude. I thought it was only a rumor.

The Jude/Nicole thing...many things happen in the privacy of people's own homes and many people do not know of. In things types of situations, if others do find out, public figures can be hurt, careers damaged. Actors love the word deny. And those two can deny it until they are blue in the face, they can say what they want. But they are photos, many, many photos. There have been 'sources' of which some can believe and some can believe they are just figments of article writers imaginations.

I strongly, strongly believe there is something between those two. I also believe Jude fell in love with Nicole on the set of Cold Mountain. I believe she and he may have kissed or something else was involved, which let Jude to rethink his position in the lives of his wife and children. It happens all the time. Actors fall for their co-stars and leave their wives.

Due to Nicole's completely obsessive 'good girl image' she will do anything to upkeep, she desperately denied anything between the two. Jude also realised the situation he had caused and the two decided nothing more should happen. Nicole knew there would be hell to pay if the public knew she had something to do with the break up of Jude Law's marriage.

Secret meetings and the like have taken place many times and different places since Cold Mountain wrapped. Nicole may have been in love with Jude, who knows, but she toyed with him due to her career. He still loves her, but she is still either saying, "Not yet," or "No." Cos he still holds on to the idea that she will come back to him. He thinks this Lenny thing is a cover. I don't know what's gonna happen. But I really don't like Nicole for what she's doing to him.

Now you can believe what you want. I truly, truly believe this and no one can tell me other wise. I've never actually discussed it with anyone before, I just assumed everyone knew what's been going on. I've been following this story since the beginning cos for someone reason, I just knew, that either Jude or Ewan was going to end up with her, ever since Moulin Rouge. When I heard Cold Mountain was going to be filmed with these two, I knew Jude and her would get together. Who knows why, maybe I am psychic or something.

The Australia media has followed this story very closly and it has been in the papers for months now. The proof is there, you just have to look. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I saw this today:
Australian actress Nicole Kidman accepted undisclosed libel damages in the High Court in Britain over a newspaper article which claimed she had an adulterous affair with actor Jude Law.

Her solicitor Keith Schilling told a judge in London that a story published in the Sun in March "meant and was understood to mean that the claimant (Ms Kidman) had had an adulterous affair with Jude Law, who was at the time married with young children".

He added: "The article implied that the claimant had led Jude Law to cheat on his wife Sadie Frost and by her behaviour caused the breakdown of their marriage."

The defendants, News Group Newspapers, publishers of the Sun, its editor Rebekah Wade, and journalist Victoria Newton now accepted that the allegations complained of were untrue, he said.

Mr Schilling told Mr Justice Eady: "The publication of the article caused damage to the claimant's personal and professional reputation and she has suffered considerable embarrassment and distress."

He added: "The defendants are here today to publicly set the record straight and through their solicitor to personally apologise to the claimant for the distress and the embarrassment they have caused her.

"The defendants have also agreed to publish an apology and pay the claimant a sum in damages and her legal costs and have agreed not to repeat the allegations complained of."

Solicitor Danel Taylor, for the defendants, told the judge: "Through me, the defendants apologise to the claimant for the distress and embarrassment this article has caused."

Ms Kidman, 37, who starred with Law in Cold Mountain, said in a statement: "I am glad that this has finally been resolved."

She is to donate the balance of the damages received from the case and an earlier legal action to Fara, a charity which helps Romania's abandoned children.

It is understood a five-figure sum will go to the charity.

Now this leads me to believe nothing sexual happened between the two while Jude was still married to Sadie. Because then Nicole would have to lie in court, and I doubt she'd do that for her reputation, then again, reputation in Hollywood is everything, so I don't know what lenghts she would go to.

Lenny and Nicole are so mismatched, it's obvious its a cover. She just grabbed the first guy who came along to divert the rumours. Australian magazines have obtained photos of Jude and Nicole going into a hotel room and coming out 3 hrs later, this was a few weeks ago or maybe a month or so. Now, they've also said, Lenny is a cover so that Jude can chill for a while, then maybe Jude and Nicole will come out and say they are together.

There I go again, rambling. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] I still think something happen between them to cause Sadie and Jude's marriage to end, but that will never come out. She lied in court and could be in major trouble for that. But she did win, which leads me to believe there might be some truth in it. Who knows. But I think its sad to sit here and wonder about other peoples lives like this. I can't imagine the hardship it must be for celebrities, but I know for a fact, I couldn't care less what people thought of me. And love comes first. I think Nicole is selfish and Jude is totally in love with her and she should just grow up!
