How cool would it be to be able to dress all Mod-like like them.

If I had the budget I would

I actually know a girl who dresses mod. She buys her clothes from thrift shops and makes some of her own. She styles her makeup that way and wears falls in her hair that make her look like she stepped out of the 60's.

Are you referring to the houndstooth and yellow outfits, or the evening wear with the pouffy wraps?
All of them looked cool to me.

I also love when she and her friend walk into the restaurant and they take off their coats and they yin yan
I loved that scene too Yellow outfit was my favorite, I think...

I agree about costumes..it was a great work of the designing team...
My favorite of all is the violet dress...I can´t find a pic, but I definitely adore it

I also like the red dress she´s wearing when she sings with Ewan in the end

And of course, this suit is one of my faves too

I meant the poofy purple wrap.

If it wasn't so fancy I'd wear it out.

^ Ah, thanks.
Yep, it was fancy, alright...I never wear clothes like that.
That's part of the beauty of this movie...quite the escape, wardrobe-wise.

Good question - I'm not too knowledgable on that...
If I had to guess, I'd say the movie's wardrobes were a bit 'heightened' from what was really worn back then by the 'everyday' woman.

I think so too

I re-watched this movie yesterday, I had forgotten the "Zip Martin" name! I really love the dry cleaner's scene ...and the apartment scene, when he said goodbye to Barbara and then emptied out a water pot on himself It was ver cool to watch again

^ I love when Zip pretends to be such a goody goody. Like he doesn't want to give her a real kiss etc. What a hoot!

That's a great moment, too - I think he was needing some cooling down after their steamy kiss.

Oh, it's so hilarious, watching Catcher act that way - Ewan does an amazing job with that!

Yup And when they go out, he counts the seconds before she calls his name...Just to see the look on his eyes is priceless!

And I love how that kiss was also made in a very "60s movies" style

And Ewan is great at it! How he puts his glasses on and speaks in a different voice tone...Zip is quite a character
