I'd definitely watch the movie first. If I read the book first, then most times, movies are a disappointment and I focus on their shortcomings and resent their interpretation.

Nope. I've heard of it, though. My SIL is finishing up the Dark Towers series (I had no idea it was a series). I thought it sounded familiar and pictured Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba after she said the title, so I googled. I vaguely recall that movie from a couple years ago. She had no idea it was made into a movie, so she'll watch it when she's done reading.

That would definitely glitch your iPad.

I recommend Carrie. Its movie version was closer to the book than The Shining movie version.

I haven't read The Dark Tower.

I just remember Matthew McConaughey looked good as a villain.
