Anne is a tear jerker, especially the 8th book, and Im not someone who normally cries.

Im losing faith in the acdemy, they keep neglecting the best, how is it that Tim Burton wasnt even nominated this year when he should have won? or any year I think? The same goes for Ewan, he definately should have gotten a nod for MR.

the Academy is like People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful List - the same people get it every year to the point where it becomes boring.

I don't think George Clooney is very talented yet he gets nominated every year.

I´ve lost the faith already..and I still want to watch the ceremony and get excited if one of my fave actors/directors/movies win...but I usually don´t expect too much...I agree with your Tim Burton example. And how come Jennifer Hudson and Helen Hunt (no offense to those who like them) have an Oscar but Kate Winslet doesn´t? Even worst to me is that Salma Hayek gets a nomination and Ewan has none so far...

This year was just an outrage, I hated 4 of the best picture nominees, OK not hated but I would have never thought movies as boring as those should have been nominated.

I like George Clooney

Hes a nice guy but I dont know if hes oscar worthy or not.

I watch the Oscars mostly for the fashion

It'll be nice when my favs win, but so far they haven't been nominated.

what upsets me about J. Hudson winning is that she did one movie. Why should a person who had a little bit of luck only once get the biggest acting award? If that's how it works, Ewan should've won for Trainspotting.

Don't get me started on Jennifer Hudson.

There is no justice when she has an Oscar and Ewan doesn't.

I have cried at the end of MR.

My mom always applauds at the end credits

I didnt really like JHudsons performance, didnt really like the movie either and Im a huuuge fan of musicals, it was just boring!

I didn't see the movie and not interested in it.
Even though I like musicals.

I am just so turned off that she won when all she is an Idol contestant.

MR deserves a big standing O.

and it's an insult to Audrey Hepburn who got an Oscar for her first big movie because now JHudson is in her category.

I want Ewan and Ed Norton to work together. They're both really strong actors.
