when the Couple's Board banner was being updated I was so scared C/S would be taken off and I was very happy when they were kept on it.

Ive read the book but I havent seen the movie, the book is beautiful, quite long too, theres around 8 books in the series.

Its about a girl called Anne Shirley, it starts when shes 11 and gets adopted finally and it follows her until she gets married and has children and then world war one starts, and the last book (the 8th one) is from her daughters point of view, its a very nice book.

I watch MR a lot...and always end up crying, I think I´m masochist...When they sing "Come what may" in the end is when I usually start to sob...it´s such a powerful scene...and movie of course.

my mom was going through these old magazines and she found an article about MR. It was mostly about Nicole and how she got the role and how she can survive not being Tom Cruise's wife. One thing that annoyed me was all the promotion emphasis was put on Nicole and not Ewan. I think that's why she got the Oscar nod and not him.

Every time the CWM reprise comes on I'm like Come on, Satine, sing to him already.

He should have been nominated too. Nicole totally deserved the nom, but I also think her divorce made her more "attractive" for marketing purposes...and that def counts...Besides, Academy is expert in neglecting the best. But at least more people started to notice Ewan´s work more because of MR.

so true. It was MR that made me become a huge fan and without that movie I wouldn't have seen his prior work.

yea, she did deserve it. But so did Ewan. He was 1/2 of what made her so great.
Tom Cruise is a big name actor so why not bank on his name/situation?
