The young players were playing quite well, and I honestly don't mind them screwing up - they need games like this to advance their playing and gel fully as a team.

The defense needs some improvement, though. It was clear that some of the regulars weren't playing.

So glad that we didn't had Gomez on the team for the world cup. When he's fit and has a good day, he scores, otherwise he's often rather useless IMO.

So true. These games will be good to build them up to where the need to be, we're just going to have to endure some heart attacks - for more reasons than Neuer being nuts

I gotta agree, Gomez just doesn't seem as good as he once was. I'm glad he wasn't in Brasil.

The game against Scotland today was a lot better - though I did miss a lump of the first half 'cause my stream stopped working

Reus though, I hope he's okay. I would hate to see him down again, especially since he's just got back!
