And it's not just the fees, if you look at some of the salaries that are being paid That's just too much, not to mention that they (as in the big names) usually also make some money with marketing and whatnot, so it's not like they'll starve if their salaries/wages are cut down a bit.

Also, with the financial trouble some teams have, it seems reasonable to cap the salaries at one point.

Arsenal are playing Dortmund this week, now this should be fun

Right? It's just too much, and it needs to be slashed. It winds me up we have men trading other men for ridiculous amounts of money and getting paid ridiculous fees, yet our health service and things are suffering. Something went wrong somewhere

Oh, that should be a good game. Do you know when it's on?

Exactly, not to mention the prices for tickets - not sure how it's for you, but over here the tickets are not exactly cheap, no idea how people pay for them if they go on a regular basis.

They're playing today, around 9 PM my time (that should be 8 PM for you )

On that note, Jenn's TV and movie hubby - aka ASkars - met Podolski (and other players from Arsenal) the other day, she didn't even tell me

It's the same here, they are silly prices. There's people that buy season tickets to 'save' money, but even so they're all expensive

Aw, I missed the game - maybe I'll be able to catch it online somewhere. Though, I know the score

I saw a few of those photos, Poldi was putting them on his instagram. Such an odd mashup of people

Yeah, especially when it comes to the 'big name' clubs

Sounds like it was a good game, so might be worth watching it.

So Bayern was lucky and won thanks to a last minute goal.

Did you see the new CL referee outfits?

Oh, I need to check his Instagram, only saw something on Twitter the other day.

I'll have to try and find it and see about watching it.

I didn't get to see Bayern, but I heard about the goal - it came off Götze no?

You should, he puts some nice photos on his instagram

I'm actually about to watch the game, even though I know the score

Trust me, I did not plan it. But I ended up going over on my ankle and bashed my knee up, it finally seems to be healing now.

What's with the new tattoo icon?

Vicki, what did you think about the game? (Other than Bayern probably scoring too often )

I hope both the ankle and the knee are in recovery now!

I thought it was a good game, actually. I'm shocked the score from Bayern wasn't higher 'cause some of the shots they had were brilliant and really should've been in the back of the net. I like that Paderborn kept running at them, too. They didn't just roll over because they were losing, they gave it a go, just wasted their chances, imo.

Thanks, Nad. It would seem so, I'm just going to hope Reus doesn't go down again - if he does, I'm not going anywhere
