Exactly!! It's through the flaws that we see a character being developed and evolving, if it's already too perfect, there isn't much else we can expect to watch as episodes go on

You said everything about why I am more drawn to complicated and flawed characters. They're not easy to like but I do appreciate this show for showing us a side of Ward that I really sympathized with. He is what he is because of his father, he's in an abusive relationship with him.

At first I really thought I wouldn't be able to stand Ward with his attitude, but as the show progressed and we saw more of his relationship with Harold, it really made me sympathize and start to root for his life to get a bit easier

Same here and I hope his life gets easier in S2 after Harold's death.

Me too!! Ward deserves a little break. I'm hoping that he'll be more balanced in season 2 to help Joy deal with all the loses.
