so the lady from the state showed up at my work for a surprise inspection today. we didnt do well at all. mainly cuz we dont have a director (she retired last august and they never replaced her) she said we shouldnt have been open for business without one if she had known this. alot of our info wasnt updated either and our first aid certification stuff wasnt renewed (cuz that was the directors job to keep up on that and let us know when it was due and to sign us up for the classes) so now the state is contacting the rec office that our program is through for more info. not sure whats going to happen next, but its not sounding good.

well we only have a couple days left of the school year then we have a break before the summer program. but not sure if that will take place cuz im assuming we need a director for that as well. i guess either way i should start job hunting just to be on the safe side.

it took an hour and a half to get to crown point, IN to pick up my cousin, then another hour to get to Bartlett, IL where the shower was

well there is a possibility they could shut us down. not sure if this will effect the summer program or not (cuz technically we dont have a director for that either). i have to wait to hear back from the rec office and see what will happen.

Lindsay to me is the opposite than you The beginning of the month is usually busier for me than the end But as long as nothing really stressful happens, I like when work has a fast pace because the day passes by faster

yeah and now i just found out that the 4 kids that drove me nuts the most this year are planning to attend the summer program i will need to call the rec office and talk to them about this. they were suppose to send someone to my school this past week to watch us to see how this kids behave and they never did, and now i have to deal with this during the summer i dont think so. something has to be done about this

Si, yes. At least we're busy right? I remember I was done with work by 3PM and I don't get off by 5:30 so I spent like 2.5 hours just pretending to do something, Luckily I have my own room so pretending is easier.

Jen, wont'a summer program be good for the kids though? At least they'll be busy.
