ha im not a coffee drinker, although i probably could have used some today. i didnt sleep well at all last night and was a walking zombie all day today. the kids at work were all acting out of control, had to talk to a couple parents about their behavior and of course the kids all tell me how mean i am. well if they would listen and follow the rules i wouldnt have to be.

that is how I am, if you want me to be in a good mood I need coffee, if not I am cranky

I know how that feels with little sleep. yeah I would blame the parents for the behavior of their kids, you are just trying to do your job

I need coffee too to jump start my day but I'm not addicted to it. Usually in the morning and that's it for me but I do drink coffee everyday.

How do you all get yourself to sleep if you're not sleepy yet (aside from taking sleeping pills)?

I usually don't have a problem to get to sleep, but when I do I usually try to read a book that I find boring/didn't like, that almost always works for me

thats how I am, I only need one cup in the morning or afternoon just to wake me up then I drink tea or juice after that. one cup is all I need if I have more then that I get jittery.

I have to take sleeping pills to stay asleep, but I have a sea salt lamp that helps with sleep and anxiety

I am guilty of taking Melatonin. I generally get sleepy late afternoon/early evening but somehow I am wide awake again come 11-midnight. I've tried not drinking coffee in the late afternoon but that doesn't help me feel sleepy after 9 PM. So I actually drink a cup of coffee now when I get home from work to avoid feeling icky because I have graduate school work to focus on. I don't do that on Fridays (drink coffee after work), but I don't go to bed until around 3 AM most of the time. As a baby, my mom told me I wasn't the best sleeper. I am still a very light sleeper and it takes me a long time to fall asleep (counting sheep is no help). However, I also don't need a lot of sleep. People often are surprised how I have so much energy with just 5-6 hours of sleep on average. Honestly, it is because I am so busy and always moving. Even at the computer, I am multi-tasking and doing multiple things at once! I'm also not always sitting while at the computer. Might be because my mind is never quiet that I have such trouble sleeping on my own.

I tried melatonin but it doesn't work on me. I take generic unisom. I can't have coffee of caffeine late at night or I'll be awake all night. I use to get 5-6 hours of sleep at the old job, but this new job I actually get 8-9 on my second shift days and its less stressful. its a family thing that we all don't sleep very well, my mom and dad and cousins all are restless and don't get that much sleep in a night. I get sleepy around 2 or 3pm when I am vegging on the couch

If I read a book, watch TV or listen to Spotify, I will fall asleep easily. I only have trouble sleeping if I'm not at home. I had to sleep over at a friend's house one time and I was awake the whole time.

Jennifer, I know someone who is addicted to coffee. She drinks 5 cups everyday and if she fails to drink even 1 cup a day, she gets really cranky and moody. You know how some people smoke a lot? She doesn't smoke but she drinks a lot of coffee which is just as bad.

Melatonin is a life-saver. I haven't tried it because I generally can sleep well (like Si) but most of the people I know take that to sleep well.

I think it is hereditary because my dad also struggles with sleeping. While my mom doesn't have trouble at all or my sister. She can fall asleep in like 10 minutes.

Oh yeah, when I'm not at home... it's not that easy to fall asleep. I think it's because we don't get as relaxed somewhere else as we do in our own bed

I'm like your mom and sister Cece... If I'm at home I'll be asleep in less than 10 minutes too

DC Entertainment to Launch Digital Service With Greg Berlanti-Akiva Goldsman Series 'Titans' | Hollywood Reporter

There is a Teen Titans live action series coming!!! I got into superheroes through DC Comics, specifically Superman, and I am so much more familiar with DC Comic characters. I got into Marvel Comics first through The Avengers movie and then got caught up with the individual movies for Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America. The first Hulk movie put me to sleep.

Ohh that sure seems like it will be interesting . DC really has lots of tv shows going around (I watch most of them, but hadn't realize there were that many )

the first (and second) Hulk movie were not good.. I only started to like Hulk in The Avengers. I've always been a sucker for superheroes... for Marvel to me it was when I saw the first Iron Man

Iron Man was great in his own movies, but Tony Stark annoys me in almost every The Avengers movie.
