Oh Ward, you put on a good act.
I paused it at the point of that letter that Claire was reading. It's from Luke, makes sense since they have a thing at the end of Luke Cage. Looks like he is in prison back in GA. Looks like Danny, Claire and Colleen are off to China. Must be hard being on another plane going over the same places where you must have crashed. Anyone would have had some kind of fear. And Claire definitely have picked up on the vibe between Colleen and Danny. Anyone would have had, I'd say. As crazy as Ward can be, I think anyone sane would consider taking the offer, especially given it wasn't Joy's ideal job, and not one she would have chosen. But she earned it, so I can understand why she wouldn't want to give it up now. The drunk fight was hilarious  |

This is my least favorite episode. I was distracted the whole time and couldn't get into it. Not a lot happened and I felt that this was a filler ep.
Ward playing the innocent game with Danny about Harold was soooo good. If he becomes villain on this show, I won't object. However, I felt like his drug problems and relationship with Joy has been the most separate thing about the show now. I just need this SL to run along. I keep forgetting Danny's a billionaire so of course he has a private plane to go to China. I'm glad Claire came with him & Colleen, no way was she going to sit this one out. Like Jen above, I had to pause the part where she was reading the letter and I thought it came from Luke as well. This just made me excited for The Defenders.  The fight towards the end was okay (the one with Danny and that drunk guy). I feel like most of the fights on this show are too choreographed and I didn't feel like the fights were as brutal as the ones on DD, JJ or LC for example. I think they need to improve this one if the show gets a second season. I guess the only take away I got from this ep is at least Danny has Madame Gao. __________________
