so it's whitewashing casting a Caucasian in an expert martial arts role when.. dun,dun,dun..he's white in the comics too.

I never got the whole whitewashing Danny in the show because hello? It's not only asians that know martial arts (and this coming from an asian), and also it's based on a character that as far as I knew (not much I confess) was already white in the comics

Yes!! I'm like so they should have hired an Asian character for the simple fact that they make it seem like Asians are the only ones that can be martial artists? That's just as stereotypical if not moreso than complaining that a white character from the comics being cast as white on the series.
