They certainly work well together. I'm not sure Lena will figure out Supergirl, at least not very quickly, there's too much inherent tension in that for it to be revealed quickly, they even backed off whether Cat really knew or not and she even outed Kara at one point.
Then there's the question of how evil/grey they'll have Lena and if they descend to out right enemies or "frenemies". |
I get Clark/Lex vibes from the early days of Smallville with Kara and Lena, to be honest.
