Maggie finally has someone who loves her too, someone who really wants to be with her no matter what.

I keep wondering if they are going to write in Kate Kane as Maggie's ex or not. Not that we'd ever see her but I'd like it to be part of her canon backstory for the show.

right? it does seem like, from the little we know, maggie's exes never quite got her and/or the work that she does.

I don't think we will be seeing kate kane on supergirl. batwoman is such an iconic character than I doubt she'd be a guest/recurring character on a lesser show, which would inevitably only serve as a plot device for sanvers. I happen to think that alex is this show's batwoman, anyway. there are way too many similarities already.

Exactly. I don't even feel like her exes ever even cared all that much to try and compromise and make the relationship work which is really sad because Maggie seems to want nothing more than a bit of commitment.

Yeah I only meant a mention in passing or Maggie talking about an ex that could be in reference to Kate Kane.

Alex is very like her in many respects (and not in others) so Maggie must have a type.
