Just proves they never had a clue. And the most important thing to consider is Melissa’s agency. No woman should ever feel obligated to stay with a man after he abuses her. I say she had every right to be with anyone who made her happy, whether she was still legally married or not.

I really don’t care when they got together, as long as she felt free and safe.

yea even before this came out, i always figured if she did cheat, it's means she no longer wants a relationship with him (for whatever reasons, though now we know) so what's the point in staying?
